In recent weeks De Unie together with employers in the e-commerce sector, united in the VEN, a negotiation result has been reached for a new collective labor agreement. This result was reached after all employees had the opportunity to provide their input. All employees will also be given the opportunity to cast their vote. They will be approached for this by an independent survey agency.
De Unie is satisfied with the result achieved. “With the new harmonized wage structure, the agreed wage increases and the gradual phasing out of youth wages for 16 and 17 year olds, we are taking another step in the right direction. Employees in this sector deserve good employment conditions. The increase in the personal training budget also offers new opportunities for them to develop further,” says Huug Brinkers.
